Job Title: Part-time Remote Associate

Brief Description:
Uwork, a national youth workforce development nonprofit, is seeking Part-time Remote Program Associate in four key operational areas (Teachers Professional Development Program, Pre-University Enrichment Program, School Exchange Program, Consulting and Workforce Development Program)
The role works closely with a Senior Advisor and plays a pivotal role in advancing the UWork Youth Initiative's mission by managing key elements of our program and community outreach, supporting programmatic goals, and ensuring the smooth operation of various initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong English writing, speaking, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Assist with the coordination and administration of the proposal/grantmaking process, including tracking application submissions and ensuring all required documentation is complete.

Communicate with clients to provide information and support throughout the proposal life cycle.

Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on strategy and organizational development.

Support the planning and execution of programmatic initiatives, including workshops, webinars, and community-building activities for youth and other key stakeholders.

Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external audiences.

Compensation
Will be based on project and initiatives the Associate support with per diem per programs for transportation, travels, and accommodation.

Knowledge of basic HR principles, strong administrative skills like data entry and file management, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and experience with onboarding new employees and managing employee records.

Have strong communications skills, both written and interpersonal, to include demonstrated ability to build networks and work well on teams

Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Google Suite and experience fundraising software or database is a plus

Role and Responsibilities

Support and drive key operations of the Strategic Partners Group, ensuring consistent, efficient, and effective operational processes and products

Provide direct support on projects and initiatives; serve as a valued “go-to” person and key resource to explain policies, practices and procedures; research and gather information; conduct analyses to identify and report activities and trends, and work independently to address and solve problems

Become a process and knowledge expert, and be responsible for support, administration and execution of several key HR processes and activities, including compensation administration, conducting exit and stay interviews, processing status changes, and working with colleagues to recommend sand implement streamlining and efficiency into processes within the group
